Cristela Alonzo is an American stand-up comic, producer writer and actress. She is best known for the TV series Cristela that began airing in the year 2014. As a result, she became the first Latina in history to produce, write and star her own television show. She grew up in Texas and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career.
