Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on the 26th of May 1978 at Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. She has acted in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (2000). Ana Paula Oliveira became a membre of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March 2020. She is the manager of Assassination Witness while also being a member of GI-TOC multilateral group. Her studies at the GI-TOC concentrates on the assassination of people, disappearances and other types of violence that occur in the framework of illicit economies. Interests in research include the impacts of organized crime on the law, policies and laws pertaining with human rights. Ana Paula holds an LL.M the cum laude of International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She has an LL.M. degree in Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree magna cum laude in Legal and Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a qualified lawyer working at a law firm focusing on civil litigation in public law for nearly four years. She has also held a range of positions as an assistant at the two non-governmental organisations in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
